<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[<i>Roegneria aduoensis</i> S.L.Lu et Y.H.Wu,a new species of Gramineae from Zaduo County,Qinghai Province is described and provide its related photos. The new species is related to <i>R.humilis</i> Keng et S.L.Chen,but it is distinguished by the base sheath with auricles on top at the both sides; both surface pubescent densely, long-hirsute mixedly on adaxial surface and margins; spike is short, only 4 cm long; anthers straw-green,1 mm long.]]></description>

It primarily differs from the typical one,by having smaller leaves usually with silvery-white midrib and tateral veins on the upper surfaces,and no purple glands on petioles,peduncles,pedicels,bracts,calyxes. And its'florescence is later than </i>Ch.glandulosa<i> and is June to July.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[After the holotype and paratypes of <i>Acanthus xiamenensis</i> had been rechecked,the author found the diagnostic character “foliis……bracteis 2 oppositis instractis ebracteolatis” was wrongly described in original paper,and it should be revised as “foliis……bracteis 1,bracteolatis 2 oppositis”. Basing on herbaria and field observations,the authors argue that <i>A.xiamenensis </i>was fallen to the varieties of <i>A.ilicifolius,</i> and should be reduced to <i>A.ilicifolius</i>,and did not agree to the treatment that <i>A.xiamenensis</i> was degraded into a variety of <i>A.ebracteatus</i> or <i>A.ilicifolius</i>. A new synonym <i>Acanthus ilicifolius</i> var.<i>xiamenensis</i> was reported.]]></description>

of Guangxi, China]]></title>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[A total of 1 147 specimens of Brachytheciaceae from 24 counties(cities)in Guangxi were studied. After identifying and reviewing related literatures, 11 genera and 44 species were confirmed. Among them, the genus <i>Pseudokindbergia</i> and seven species, <i>Brachythecium procumbens</i>, <i>Oxyrrhynchium latifolium</i>, <i>O. vagans</i>, <i>Pseudokindbergia dumosa</i>, <i>Rhynchostegiella sinensis</i>, <i>Sciuro-hypnum populeum</i> and <i>S. reflexum</i>, were newly recorded in Guangxi. In this paper, a revised checklist of Brachytheciaceae of Guangxi was provided. And the morphological characters, habitats, geographical distribution of the new records were also described in great detail.]]></description>
