By investigating 10 wild sample stands(with total area of 30.5 km2)located in the main distribution area of Huperzia serrata in Guangxi, combining with the studies of more than 45 specimens stored in six herbarium as well as the existing documents,it's found that northeast and southeast Guangxi were the main distribution area of H.serrata, and an actual distribution area was 1 886.3 km2or so; its biomass distribution pattern at different areas were obtained via field biomass investigation, and the assessment of direct sampling results, indirect reasoning data, and envirpnmental parameter were made with the scientific method of evaluation. It could be ascertained that the natural storage capacity of H.serrata was 413.1 t; based on this figure and the factor of manpower collection, the theoretical exploitation capacity was 20.6 t. However, the large-scale exploitation should not be feasible because of their scattering status and relative concentrated distribution areas in the natural reserves and scenic spots. Therefore,to avoid the resource shortage of H.serrata,it must rely on other scientific and rational approaches.

Potted Stephania kwangsiensis seedlings were grown under 100%,50%,30%,15% of natural light intensity. It was found that with the reducing light intensity, the maximum net photosynthetic rate(Pmax),light saturation point(LSP),light compensation point(LCP)showed a trend of decrease-to-increase,and the apparent quantum yield(AQY)under 30% and 50% of light intensity were significantly higher than those under 100% and 15% of light intensity. The contents of total chlorophyll(Chl),chlorophyll a(Chla),chlorophyll b(Chlb)and carotenoid(Car)in leaves increased with decreasing light intensity, while Car/Chl decreased under low light, and Chla/Chlb had no remarkably change. As the light intensity decreased, the single leaf area increased and leaf mass per area(LMA)decreased. The root tuber biomass was the highest under 30% of light intensity. Therefore,it seemed that S.kwangsiensis had a wide range of light adaptability, but its photosynthetic rate decreased when grown in either strong or weak light intensity, resulting in inhibition of growth and biomass. 30% of light intensity was the best light environment for seedlings on the current growth season.

In this paper,in order to better identify of the two variaties and three types of Z.nitidum, the variation of leaflet morphological characters of them was analyzed, the micro-morphology of the leaflet epidermis and nerve was observed by SEM and AM. The results was showed that the leaflet characters of each variaty and type were mainly on leaf texture and pubescence on the surface of plant. The leaflet texture is the first taxonomic character because of its stabilization among the type. There is obvious distinguish between original variety and Z.nitidum var.tomentosum, and between Type III and other two types on the surface characters of leaflet. There are some special characters of leaflet nerve for type I and Z.nitidum var.tomentosum which were different from others. As a result,micro-morpology of the surface and nerve of the leaflet of Z.nitidum is significant for classification and identification. Based on above studies,it's confirmed that it has great significance for the division of two varieties and 3 types in Z.nitidum recorded in the book named Flora of China.

Contingency table was used to calculate the interspecific association indice, while Spearman Rank correlation coefficient was adopted to analyze the interspecific covariance. The results showed that flooding disturbance had little effect on the association type for most species pairs, but had some effect on the rank coefficients of inter-specific co-variance. Different species pairs varied greatly in their responses to the flooding disturbance. It showed that the inter-specific co-variance relations were not only dependent on environmental perturbation or disturbance factors, but also on the biological and ecological properties of the species that comprised the species pairs. Interspecific covariance based on the numerical properties of the communities were much more sensitive to the external disturbance than the interspecific associations caculated only based on the binary data of“presence or absence of species”.

The results showed that:there was significant difference in seed germination of N.physaloides under different temperatures,it had the highest germination rate(84.3%)under fluctuating temperature of 15/25 ℃,with high and uniform germination speed. The germination rate was very low when seeds were immediately sowed after collection,if the seeds were stored for 6-9 months under room temperature, the germination rate was higher under constant temperature of 25 ℃ or fluctuating temperature of 15/25 ℃,but seed vigor reduced obviously when stored for 15 months under room temperature, indicating that there was dormancy characteristic for seeds of N.physaloides. Protraction of storage time could promote seeds germination of N.physaloides. Cold storage could prolong the longevity of seeds, and it can enhance the germination ability of seeds under certain conditions.

The dynamic process of fruit growth and mogrol glycoside content and their change rules were investigated. The results showed that:the dynamic change rule of the fruit growth and mogrol glycosides content of S.grosvenorii with both polyploid and diploid were similar. The growth process of the fruit could be divided into three period:rapid growth period(1-20 d),slow growth period(20-30 d)and stop growth period(30-90 d). When the fruits grew for 80 days, their morphology were the largest and followed in the pattern of 4x>2x>3x,the polyploidy S.grosvenorii also showed larger. And with the day-old growth, the bitter component, mogrosideⅡE,converted into the mogroside Ⅲ,then both of them emergenced and disappearanced respectively, and converted into mogrosideⅤwith high sweetness. So the ripe fruits of S.grosvenorii were full of mogrosideⅤ. And when growing for 80 days, the content of mogrosideⅤ reached the highest and followed 4x>3x>2x,so the content of mogrosideⅤin polyploidy S.grosvenorii was markedly improved and in particular triploid S.grosvenorii had seedless characteristics. Depression speed was different for varieties. Fruit shape, size, color, total mogrosides content, mogrosides Ⅴcontent and female stigma growth mode greatly separated among F1 hybrid progenies. Fruit size, total mogrosides content and mogrosides Ⅴcontent occurred heterosis. Pollen abortion of male abortive lines was determined by gene. Female plants could inherit the abortive character by cross and its fruits were seedless. Amphoteric mation of monoclinous flower branch were belonged to genetic variation.

http://gxzw.ijournals.cn/gxzwen/ch/reader/view_abstract.aspx?file_no=20090643&flag=1

The xenia effect on trace elements in Siraitia grosvenorii,in which mogroside V content had been affected significantly by pollen source, was demonstrated by determining of several kinds of trace elements by ICP-OES. Four kinds of trace elements content,Zn,Fe,Cr and Al,had significant deviation in the two S.grosvenorii samples pollenized by two kinds of foreign pollens, therefore it demonstrated that xenia existed apparently. The Pb content in the two samples was hyper-standard because of strict standard of Pb in the NY/T 694-2003,while which was consistent with Pb standard of WM/T 2-2004; So we deemed that the standard of Pb in the NY/T 694-2003 was too strict and needed to be researched and discussed. The higher content of B in the fruits of “Qingpi 3”דHongmao 1”,which had higher mogroside V,provided the scientific basis for B trace element fertilizer; The higher content of 8 kinds of trace elements was found in fruits of “Qingpi 3”דHongmao 2”combination,in which Mn can boost respiratory rate.
