| The tile of our journal GUIHAIA is Latinized Chinese characters "guihai"(桂海), Osmanthus Sea in meaning. This term was first used in Marshal Yuan, a poem written by Jiang Yan, a literati, of Liang State under South Dynasty (420-589), read, "Flourishing literature extended to the remote Guihai." As the old saying goes, "In the South near the sea, there is rich in Osmanthus trees." hence Guihai named. |
