In the environments,excess copper will impair the plant cells,inactivate enzymes and destroy protein structure. There is a complex metal trafficking network to appropriately regulate copper homeostasis in plants. This review gave a brief overview of copper toxicity and recent progresses about copper transporters and their roles in the regulation of copper ion homeostasis in plants. |
