Abstract: |
The study of floristics is essential to reveal the origin and evolutionary mechanism of vegetation in a certain region. Based on the distribution information from specimens, literature and field investigation, we studied the spatial distribution pattern of vines in Fanjing Mountain and its surrounding areas by using ArcGIS, and analyzed the species richness and floristic characteristic under the context of the whole country. The results were as follows:(1)In Fanjing Mountain area of Guizhou Province, 299 taxa(including 235 species, 26 subspecies and 38 varieties)of vines, belonging to 95 genera, 36 families account for 54.55%, 35.45% and 19.17% of the total number of 1 560 species of vines belonging to 268 genera and 66 families in China, respectively.(2)The analysis of floristic composition showed that the vines of Fanjing Mountain area are mainly composed of temperate and subtropical genera, and the temperate components are more obvious.(3)Under the context of the whole country, the high-richness areas of vines from Fanjing Mountain area are mainly distributed in the east of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Daba-Wushan Mountains area, Wuling Mountain area and the junction of Guizhou and Guangxi Province. Therefore, the Fanjing Mountain area is more likely to serve as the southern boundary of their distribution areas. This study provides the background data for the utilization of vines of Fanjing Mountain area as well as their protection and monitoring in the future, and it also provide scientific basis for the protection of plant diversity and the sustainable development and utilization of plant resources. |
